Admission (including part admissions) – In some situations, a party involved in a lawsuit may confirm the truth of all or part of the other party’s claim. This could happen at any stage during the initiated already court proceedings. For example, a defendant may agree that he or she owes some money. But they owe less than the amount being claimed by the plaintiff. If the defendant makes an admission, the claimant may apply for judgment, on the admission.
