Agent – within the meaning of the Commercial Law this is a person who has received the authorization to act on behalf and for the account of another. This authorization could have different forms. Somewhere as a letter of authorization, somewhere as a  management or labor contract. The actions done by the agent bind that other person as if he or she were themselves making the decisions. Usually, the person who is being represented by the agent is referred to as the “principal”.
