Aggravated circumstances

Aggravated circumstances – within the area of Criminal Law, the term refers to these facts and circumstances, which lead to increase of the guilt of a person who has been convicted of a certainly committed crime. For example, if the criminal has committed similar crimes before and respectively not reformed. Or, for example, if they kill the victim with numerous hits with a knife and caused great suffering to them. Aggravated circumstances vary in the different legal systems.
