Alieni iuris

December 23, 2012 – by legal glossary
Alieni iuris – this legal term comes from Latin. It means: “under the control and the authorization of somebody else”. Usually, in the legal representation, it represents the activities which a lawyer performs on the base of power of attorney by their client. The client acts as the authorizer and the solicitor acts as the authorized person.
