Amend – within the area of Contract Law, the term means “to change” or “to revise” – usually to the wording of a written document such as a contract. A signed agreement could be amended on various reasons, stipulated in the local legislation for example, once the parties who have signed it, decide to amend the price detailed in, or the deadlines for performance, or to amend the undertaken obligations.
