Assign – it means “to transfer the ownership” of movable property or a real estate towards somebody, and is a synonym of “assure”. There are two capacities, participating in the process: the assignee (sometimes also called “assigns”) is the person who receives the right or property being given. And the assignor is the person giving title rights.
