Chapitre – in the legal practice the term refers to a legal conclusion made on investigation report, which usually has been prepared by a lawyer towards their client on a concrete issue for review and taking a decision. For example, in the conveyance procedures, a client may ask for a legal conclusion if the real estate they intend to purchase is free of legal burdens. Then the hired lawyer investigates the legal status of the property and confirms to the client if it is free or not.
