Disclosure – Parties to a civil case must disclose (i.e. to show to the other party) all the documents they intend to rely on in court to support their case. For example, when entering a civil claim, per the provisions of the Civil Code in many jurisdictions, the claimant is obliged to attach certified copies of all documents to be forwarded to the defendant after accepting the claim by the court, where the defendant will have a concrete term to respond to the court, presenting their opinion to these.
