Negotiated agreement

Negotiated agreement – this term in the Law of Contracts details a concluded agreement, which then has been amended from its initial draft version, after performed bilateral negotiations between the parties in good faith and in order to reach a compromised solution, i.e. to conclude the contract due to its performance. This is what independent lawyers do – they negotiate with the opposite party the clauses of contracts, which they intend that will improve the position of their clients – i.e. will secure the client’s legal and financial interests. Once there is a negotiated agreement, lawyers sign it on behalf of their clients, in cases where precisely authorized for it.
