Nonentity application – this term in the area of Divorce Law is used to detail a specific application, entered by one of the spouses to the local Civil Court for a declaration to be announced by the judge that a marriage be declared ‘void’ or be annulled i.e. declared never to have existed or to have subsisted until the court has dissolved it.
