Parental liability

Parental liability – this legal phrase in terms of Family Law in many legal systems, this phrase refers to the liability of parents for offences, torts and damages, done by their underaged children towards property of third parties. This legal phrase should not be mixed with the phrase “parental responsibility”, which itself refers to the set of obligations of the parents towards their children – like personal care, feed, parental supervision, teaching and establishing the behavior, financial support, etc.
