Payment card

Payment card – in terms of Banking Law this phrase describes credit card, debit card, or gift card issued by a bank towards the payer, which allows them to perform direct debit of their account for payment of the goods they purchase at stores; also allows direct cash withdrawal (in agreed small rates) from public cash-machines, usually against small fee. In the Criminal Law, the fraudulent transactions, performed under payment cards, despite all their securities, are called “payment fraud”.
