Penal Law – this phrase gives the name of specific body of the local law that deals with conduct, prohibited by the legislation of the concrete country, prosecuted and punished by the government. A synonym is “Criminal Law”. Usually the Penal Law consists of the Penal Code – a specific legislation, applicable in each country, which determines precisely the various felonies crimes and the related punishments and treaties, as a type of security for the public law order within the concrete society or country. It consists also of the Penal Cistody Code, which sets up only the procedures and custodies for convicting and punishing the convicted criminal.
