Political corruption – this phrase is used in the Parliamentary Law to detail a situation, where people, elected on certain positions to rule the country – like members of Parliament, Ministers, Chiefs of Authorities, who are members of political organizations but embedded with powers, take (receive) money under the table and pursue private benefit illegally. This always happens against the Law Order and the moral bases of the concrete society and represents a political crime. In 2013, few developing countries from the Eastern European Block like Bulgaria are examples unfortunately for political corruption, where the criminal sentences on the other hand, for massive political corruption, are hardly and very rarely met, due also to the slow, heavy and full of shortcomings court trials.
