Banishment – in the area of Criminal Law, this term is used to detail a criminal punishment, where the convicted criminals, proclaimed guilty with a court decision, have been forced to leave the country (or town) and have not been allowed to come back ever again in lifetime. Usually the banishment is placed/charged for performance of serious crimes against the government.
