Presidential term – this legal term details the period of the presidential mandate in a concrete country. Depending of the provisions of the concrete local Constitution, the presidential tenure, called also “presidency” usually continues four or five years. In many countries there is legal provision that certain person can not be elected on this position for president, more than two mandates one after other. A synonym is “presidential tenure”.
