Private individual – this term is used in the area of Law of Contract, where it refers to the figure of a person, who is identified to perform legal actions in his personal capacity as physical person; i.e. the term does not refer to a corporate entity. The private individual performs legal actions for himself, and not representing any bodies or organizations. Synonyms are “individual person” and “physical individual”.
