Private servitude

Private servitude – in the area of Real Estate Law this term refers to a servitude, which usage is given to concrete beneficiary for his/her enjoyment, and not to anybody else (for example, the use of apartment). Usually the private servitude is terminated with the death of the beneficiary and could not be inherited. It differs than the real servitude (known also as “landed servitude”), which creates benefit for the property owner via using neighboring real estate.
