Pro majori cautela

Pro majori cautela – this term comes from Latin. Literally it means “for bigger care”. Usually it is used in the sphere of Law of Contracts, where refers to a term/clause, implemented in agreement to secure better the interests of a party. Such clauses are guarantee clauses, penalty clauses, clauses prohibiting delay in performance of the agreement, etc.
