Proclamation – this term is used in the sphere of Parliamentary Law. It refers to announced official statement, made directly to the public by governmental authority like the Parliament or the President. The proclamation informs the society about the legal actions of this Authority, Institution or presiding person. Usually it is a statement for official position, or applies to the recipients for taking particular behavior. Synonyms are “decree”, “manifest” and “pronouncement”.
