Proviso

Proviso – this term comes from Latin; in terms of Law of Contracts it refers to a condition or a clause embedded into an agreement; also it could detail a particular restriction, stipulated in a Title Deed. For example, the Property law in some jurisdictions allows the parties to agree that the property won’t be re-sold until the seller lives there.
