Public safety – this term is used in the area of Administrative Law, where details the legal governmental responsibility for the safety of the general public. Usually the public applies on public places (streets, walkways and public buildings) and pursues life and health protection from accidents, natural disasters and public crimes. The citizens defense agencies, the fire department and the police are only some of the authorities that deliver public safety and keep it in order.
