Reasonable doubt – this term means that a person has found good factual basis not to believe that something is really in the way it has been told to him. For example, within the area of Criminal Law, an investigator may hold good pieces of evidence of the guilt. So he can exercise reasonable doubt in the presumption that the convicted person is not guilty. Therefore it is also named as “rational doubt”.
