Recovery of funds – in practice, usually in the area of Litigation Procedures, this term details the claim for refund of money previously invested by the claimant towards the defendant. The claimant submits their claim in court and request for a decision which to oblige the debtor to refund the money voluntary. If the judgment debtor does not cooperate, then the recovery of funds continues with obtaining a writ of execution and the related actions by the bailiff. A synonym is “reclamation”.
