Refugee Law – this term gives the name of a branch of Law, which deals internationally with the rights and obligations of people, who have escaped from their country of origin (usually due to military conflict), who have no legal papers to reside in the welcoming country and who have been legally and officially recognized as “refugees” by the welcoming country (i.e. been given a refugee status). There are numerous conventions, establishing rules about the refugees, in order to save their life and protect their human rights.
