Remedial warranty – this term applies in the area of Commercial Law. There it details an obligation, undertaken by the manufacturer or seller of an item or goods, to repair it, to change it or to compensate the buyer in case specific shortcoming or defect occurs. Usually the parties agree that the remedial warranty expires after a concrete agreed term. In some countries the remedial warranty for some goods or services is set up by legislative act.
