Remonstrance

Remonstrance – in practice this legal term refers to the placed or presented response or protest against certain statement previously made. In the civil court procedures for example, it is used to attack a statement already made by the other party during court hearing, or alternatively made in writing. If one party states they have not received payment, then the opposite party may attack it via presenting a statement showing proper payment. Synonyms of “remonstrance” are “objective”, “opposition” and “protest”.
