Replacement deed – in the meaning, given by the Law of Contracts, in most jurisdictions the replacement deed is an original duplicate of the Title Deed. Usually it is obtained at the Authority which registers it. It serves the same goals as the original. People use to obtain replacement deed in cases where they may have lost the original; or never handled to them previously.
