Restrictive endorsement

Restrictive endorsement – This legal term is formed from the words “restrictive” (prohibiting, forbidding) and “endorsement” (sanction, support). In the legal practice, it usually finds application in the sphere of Financial Law in some legal systems. There it relates to a prohibition detailed at the back of check or promissionary note, with the role not to allow a particular person to get it.
