Right of confidentiality

Right of confidentiality – the Law in many legal systems gives a right to a lawyer or counselor of confidential communication, correspondence and secret record/archive of their files in relation to their work. All these can not be shared with the public, or to be a subject of examination or review by others. The goal is to grant security to practitioners and their clients that their communication will be confidential and won’t make the situation of a convicted person worse, for example.
