Caput great lipinum

Caput great lipinum – this legal phrase was used in ancient criminal law, where it detailed that a convicted criminal is considered as lone wolf (i.e. out of the society), so other people are entitled to do their best to capture him and bring him to justice, or deliver direct justice to him if they arrest him. For example, back in history this legal phrase detailed the job of headhunters in the Wild West.
