Sainthood – Literally it means “canonization”. This legal term refers to the religious process of proclaiming a person saint. Or it could refer to the religious status of a saint. In practice, there are different rules for canonization, according to the Christian Religion. For example, one in the Orthodox religion a rule for sainthood is the lack of murdering another person during the life of the person who the church wants to proclaim as a saint. In addition, the Roman Catholic Religion requires a miracle to be associated with the person. Where there must be enough and indisputable pieces of evidence of the said miracle.
Example: “This person with his rude behavior towards others, is not an example of sainthood”.
