Slavery – This legal term details a situation back in ancient times when a person (called “master”) has absolute power over another (called “slave”) including life and liberty. The slave has no freedom of action except in the frame set by the master. The slave is considered to be the property of the master and can be subject of a sale, gift or even killing. All the benefits delivered by the slave’s work belong to the master. Nowadays slavery is illegal everywhere in the world without exceptions.
