Transferee of real estate – within the area of Conveyance procedures, this legal term refers to the figure of a person who receives ownership of property being transferred to him (as a purchase or as a gift for example – it doesn’t matter how, as long as all title rights go in the patrimony of the receiver. On the other hand, the person from whom the property is moving is called the “transferor”.
