Abandonment option

Abandonment option – within the area of Contract Law, the abandonment option is a specific term implemented in investment contract where it entitles the parties who have concluded the contract, to terminate the investment and to withdraw from the agreement when the circumstances for termination are met. For example, this would be a case where the development is impossible to be completed. And the parties have previously agreed in the contract that such result will lead to abandonment option.
