Absolute pardon – in the legal practice, this term usually finds application in the CCriminal Law. There it refers to a situation in which the convicted person has been released via order by the Authorities from taking the whole punishment or for paying tickets/fines. Various countries set up different rules for absolute pardon. But usually, it is non-conditional and it may happen after good behavior shown by the criminal while being in jail. The result of the release is that it removes the punishment and in the future, the charge/criminal is free and not obliged with any further liabilities. A synonym is “non-conditional pardon”.
