Ancillary relief

Ancillary relief – within the area of Court Trials, the term refers to these additional claims that a court can hear during a divorce case. For example, these could be: Parental rights for a child, a regular maintenance, payable to one of the ex-spouses by the other for some period, a lump sum, or a transfer of property from one ex-spouse to another, etc.
