Binding precedent

Binding precedent – Binding precedent is a term from the Common Law system where it refers to the example of jurisdiction given in a specific case. This given justice has then to be followed by lower courts in their further practice, related to similar cases. Basically, the binding precedent pursues the role to establish equality of the court practice, i.e. to avoid conflicting solutions on similar cases.
