Capacity

Capacity – this term usually details the legal competency of a person or a party to perform legal activities, for example:

– To enter into obligatory relations with others (i.e. to sign agreements on their own, for example);

– To represent themselves or others in the court of law, or

– To get a mandatory position.

In most jurisdictions there are different rules for governing the legal capacity of person, but mostly it relates to the age of 18 and competence of clear mind (lack of any mental incapability or decease).

Capacity is also recognized as the achieved education and knowledge to stay on certain job position or to produce a particular manufacturing.
