Hague Rules – the term refers to these international legal rules, introduced in 1921 to define the legal rights and obligations of a carrier in Maritime Law. They include also the Hague-Visby Rules for carriage of goods. The Hague Rules have been amended in 1978 with the Hamburg Rules.
