Harassment – the term details an unsolicited behaviour, using words or conduct which tend to annoy, alarm or abuse the victim and results in a hostile environment. Name-calling (“stupid”, “retard” or “dummy”) is a common form of harassment. (See also “sexual harassment”). Local companies should have a harassment policy to provide an environment for their employees, free from unwelcome offensive or irregular conduct – unfortunately a circumstance, which unfortunately is not followed in still developing countries in 2012 by many of the small companies-employers.
