Pecuniary resources – this legal phrase comes from the Latin term “pecuniary” which itself comes from other Lating terms – “pecunia” and “pecu” and literly means “money”.  In the sphere of Business Law in many jurisdictions it refers to the available financial assets; i.e. assets in cash.
