Personal guardian

Personal guardian – in the area of Family Law in many jurisdictions, there is a figure of personal guardian – a person, appointed for a certain term by the court or the public authorities (depending of the provisions in the local legislation), to take legal care of the children in need or incapable adults. The personal guardian is not necessary to be legal practitioner. The role of the personal guardian is to take valid legal decisions on behalf and in favor of these (in relation to education, medic care, personal deposits, etc.) and to protect their legal and financial interests and personal assets.
