Principia probant, non probantur

Principia probant, non probantur – this legal phrase comes from Latin. It is part of the Law Theory in most legal systems, where provises that the basic, major and fundamental legal principles do not need to be proved in each case – simply because they are presumed by all parties to be true (considered as priori) and binding the members of the concrete society which uses the Law.
