Prior negligence

Prior negligence – this is term within the Tort Law in some legal systems. It refers to negligence, the performance of which is so far away after the moment where the injury has occurred to the harmed person. As a result, the prior negligence could not be related directly and straight to the injury, resp. could not be used as a legal reason for pursuing of damages or other legal liability from the person who has performed the negligence.
