Proof of loss

Proof of loss – this legal term applies in the Litigation procedures and in Tort proceedings, where refers to each evidence, proving loss, occurred after the behavior of the defendant (i.e. their illegal actions). The proof of loss is used to support the claim for damages. In other words, the plaintiff must prove that he has suffered losses and these losses are direct result from the activities (or non-activities) of the defendant.
