Reinstatement – this legal term finds application in the sphere of Labor law in some jurisdictions. It refers to the act of taking an employee, who has lost his job, back to the same job position. This act happens without any negative outcome. The employee does not lose his labor benefits previously achieved (i.e. right for bigger salary because of employment practice, social security services, his whole retirement fund, etc.)
