Repair contract

Repair contract – within the area of Commercial Law, this is usually an agreement which the manufacturer or seller of an item signs with the buyer in order to provide repair service for this item. Usually the repair contract has a concrete term of performance. It is applicable in practice where there are new and expensive machines purchased, which need qualified maintenance and repairs in case of failure. The origin of the term is the word “repair”, which means to restore an item to its previous operating condition.
