Reparations – in terms of International Law, this word details the sum of money, asked by a country for illegal activities committed by another country; or asked as compensation. Usually the countries who have won a war, ask for reparations to be paid by the countries that have lost the war (known as aggressors). There the role of the reparations is to compensate the country-winner for the losses of people and economy loses during the war.
