Re-publication

Re-publication – this term finds application in the Inheritance Law, where details the act of re-execution of a will by the testator, with a view of giving it full legal force and effect towards the involved parties. The origin of this term is the word “publish”, which literally means “announce”, i.e. making a written statement readable for the public. Somewhere called also “revalidation of a will”, because the old will has been revalidated with new or amended clauses.
